Chasing eats your evenings
Checking who has paid, working out what's overdue and writing reminder after reminder is slow work that keeps getting pushed to "later".
Founding clients: first month free
Each morning we prepare that day's polite invoice reminders as ready-to-send drafts in your own email, in your own words. You review them and press send. You get a weekly overdue report, and invoices 30 days late are flagged so you know who to call. A Managed plan with reply drafts and a weekly call list is coming soon. We set it up and look after it, so you can get back to running your business.
The problem
Checking who has paid, working out what's overdue and writing reminder after reminder is slow work that keeps getting pushed to "later".
Nobody wants to nag a good customer. So reminders go out late, or not at all, and "30 days" quietly turns into 60.
Late payments mean you cover salaries, rent and suppliers out of your own pocket while money you've earned sits with someone else.
How it works
Each customer gets each reminder only once. As soon as an invoice is marked paid, reminders for it stop.
A simple spreadsheet or an export from your accounting software. No new system for your team. Every morning the system checks which invoices need a nudge.
Friendly first, firmer later. Stages and timing can be adjusted to suit your payment terms.
Each morning the day's emails are waiting as drafts in your own business inbox. You check them and press send, so replies come straight to you.
What was collected, what's still outstanding by age, your top late payers and who needs a personal call. You also get a short weekly list of who still owes you.
Getting started takes 1–3 weeks
What's included
We work from a spreadsheet or an export from your accounting software. No new system for your team.
Reminders are prepared in your business inbox and sent by you, so replies go straight to you. We never contact your customers in our name.
Four reminder messages, written with you and approved by you before any drafts are prepared.
3 days before the due date, on the due date, then 7 and 14 days late. Every reminder is a draft you review first.
Total owed, what's overdue by age, your top late payers and who needs a personal call.
Long-overdue invoices are handed to you rather than getting another reminder email.
Nothing is ever sent automatically or by us. Daily drafts only start after your written OK.
We prepare the drafts every morning, adjust messages and fix issues. You mark invoices paid (or tell us) and paid invoices drop off.

Seikumi is a Singapore business built for one job: helping small businesses get paid on time, politely. We saw how much time owners lose chasing invoices, so we made it simple. We're small and hands-on, so you get a real person who knows your setup.
Seikumi is inspired by the Japanese shikumi (仕組み): the system behind how things work. That is what we build for your receivables.

FAQ
Your customers' names, emails and phone numbers are personal data under Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA). We handle them like this:
You remain responsible for being allowed to contact your customers about money they owe you (for example, an existing business relationship). Reminders are about the invoice only, never marketing. We're not lawyers, so if you're unsure, check the PDPC's guidance or ask your adviser.
From your business. Reminders are prepared as drafts in your own email account (ideally a dedicated address like accounts@yourcompany), using access you can cancel at any time, and you press send. Customers reply to you directly. On Essentials, you handle the replies. If you need to call a customer, invoices 30 days late are flagged for you. We never contact your customers under the Seikumi name, and we never take collection or legal action.
Not yet. For now reminders are by email only. WhatsApp drafts may come later, and you would still press send yourself. We never send messages to your customers for you, on any channel.
You mark the invoice as paid in the shared invoice list, or just message us and we'll update it. Reminders for that invoice stop. The system doesn't read your bank account, so keeping "paid" up to date is the one thing we need from you.
Each customer gets at most four short, polite messages per invoice, in wording you've approved. At 30 days overdue the emails stop and the invoice is flagged. You then follow up personally. Anything disputed, in court or sensitive is stopped and comes back to you.
No. We work from your invoice list, either a shared spreadsheet or an export from your accounting software. Some accounting software has built-in reminders. If yours already works well for you, we'll tell you on the call.
Yes. It's a month-to-month plan with no lock-in contract. Tell us before your next billing date and we'll stop the reminders, disconnect from your email and hand back or delete your data.
Reminders can be live within 48 hours of receiving your overdue list, once you have approved the wording. How fast it goes mainly depends on how quickly we can get your invoice list and email access sorted.

No hard sell. You'll leave knowing whether automated reminders make sense for you and what it would cost.
